Murphy, age 9
My standard sized dachshund Murphy started limping on one of his front legs. He was evaluated at MSU Veterinary Hospital in January and diagnosed with arthritis. He was prescribed an anti-inflammatory prescription medication but we were also strongly advised to start him on Omega Benefits oil. In less than 2 weeks the limping disappeared. After about a month we started giving the anti-inflammatory medication every other day, then it was every 3 days and then we stopped the medication. However, he was on the oil the entire time and still is to this day. We planned on giving the medication on an as needed basis. However, since stopping the medication, which I believe was sometime in March, he has essentially had no limping. One day he had a very brief limping episode for which we gave a dose of his medication and then in July he had a short episode of limping for which we gave the medication for 3 days. Other than that, he is 99% better. I let the MSU vet know but wanted to share our story with you as well.
I think the oil is a miracle product. I really do. It is such a relief not to have to have him on prescription medication which has the potential for serious side effects. I was so worried about Murphy. He is only 9 and for a dachshund that isn’t very old. He’s the equivalent of a middle aged human man! I want to thank you for your wonderful product. I also feel that it’s reasonably priced.
